The Lord Needs Men
Who cannot be bought;
Whose word is their bond;
Who put character above wealth;
Who possess character above wealth:
Who possess opinions and a will;
Who are larger than their vocations;
Who do not hestiate to take chances;
Who will not lose their individuality in a crowd;
Who wil be honest in small things as in great things;
Who will make no compromise with wrong;
Whose ambitions are not confined to their own selfish desires;
Who will not say they do it "because everyone else does it;"
Who are true to their friends through good report and evil report, in adversity and as well as prosperity;
Who do not believe shrewdness, cunning, and hard headedness are their best qualities for winning success;
Who are not ashamed or afraid to stand for the truth, even when it is unpopular;
Who can say "NO" with emphasis even though the rest of the world says "Yes".

God’s Heart is broken over men who…
Are spiritually lost
Are caught in the cycles of pain, addiction, and sin
Are confused about their masculinity
Have rejected their commitment to their marriage
Have abandoned their families
Have been taken hostage by pornography
Have been deluded by the pursuit of worldly success.
It is an awesome promise to know that God desires to show Himself strong on behalf of those that love Him. Yet many people rather seek the natural or human means to solve their problems; to trust in them , and to think that they are better than God’s ways leaving God out of the process completely. This reflects the move toward humanism and the superiority of the human intellect. We become ensalved to our sense of independence that a relationship with God becomes unnecessary. Where are the men of God? Where are the men who will rise up and lead our nation? Where are the men, the fathers, the sons and brothers? Where are the men who truly know what it means to be a man?
God values those individuals who are devoted to Him, so that He searches throughout the earth to show Himself strong on their behalf, because they they love Him faithfully and have devoted themselves to His cause. (Ezek 9:3-6). God does this to support them in whatever troubles (Ex 14:15:20; 2 Ki 19:35), affliction (Gen 37:34; Ex 2:23-25), or trials (Gen 22:1-14) they may face.
In his early years as King, Asa sought the Lord’s counsel and wisdom but in the later years He begins to slowly place His trust on the conventional wisdom of men. Making compromises trusting in human resources rather than God Himself. He rejected the prophet of God, and even put Him in prison. Rather than seeking God for discernment and deliverance, he began to seek help from physicans who may have used incantations and the medical remedies of the occult. Throughout the whole earth today, men are still abandoning their faith in Jesus Christ and pursuing their own ways, thus producing a vacuum of authenic Christian leadership. Look at the statisics below and then examine your own heart. Turn your eyes upon Jesus. May your heart be filled with joy and mind renewed with His peace as you allow the Holy Spirit to lead you. Knowing that God is with you!
"He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those whose hope is in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not grow faint."
